Children's Church: Chillin' On The Rock!
Our children's church program, Chillin’ on the
Rock, is a very special ministry for children ages
2-11 years old.
Chillin' on the Rock Pre-Schoolers (ages 2-5) meet prior to the start of the Sunday service downstairs in the room beside the kitchen. (Please note: children should be picked up after the service by the same person who brought them to the classroom.)
Chillin' on the Rock Elementary (ages 6-11) will stay in the Sunday service for a time of praise and worship, and will be dismissed prior to the offering. They meet downstairs in the room opposite the kitchen.
Chillin'on the Rock is an excellent opportunity for children to learn about Christianity through Bible stories, games, crafts and fellowship in a safe and loving environment. We desire that as they go through the program, each child would come to know the love of Jesus Christ. As a result, they would accept Him as their personal Lord and Saviour and develop a relationship with Him through prayer and reading their Bible.
Our purpose is to help our children understand that the Lord has a wonderful plan for their life, which is to make disciples of all people in all nations. This starts with telling their friends about the love of Jesus. We will show the children that their walk with the Lord is a day-to-day lifestyle. We will teach them godly principles and values, and demonstrate how they can apply them to their own lives.
Children are our future, and Chillin' on the Rock is such an incredible way to plant the powerful seeds of love, truth and hope into their hearts. It is a blessing and a privilege to sow into God's Kingdom in this way, and to eventually reap the harvest of transformed lives!
